Joseph Robidoux died Friday April 29, 2016 after a short illness.

He was born March 15, 1928 in Waltham, VT the son of Alfred and Ora Robidoux.

He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Also a member of the American Legion, Joseph was employed many years at Johnson lumber Company. He enjoyed spending time with his family. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and love to dance.

He was predeceased by his son Raymond in April 1976. Daughter June Curavoo September 27, 2015 and two brothers Albert and Leo Robidoux.

Joseph is survived by his wife Teresa whom married to for 62 years; two daughters Christine Novale and financé Danny Briggs, Bernardine Butler and husband Jerry, a son Robert Robidoux and friend Michelle, son in law Steve Curavoo; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister Doris Quattrocci, Rita Brown and a brother Alfred Robidoux; many sisters in law and brothers in law, nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol from Noon up to 1 p.m. with a funeral service following at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol and a reception will follow at American Legion in Bristol. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Addison County Home Health & Hospice, PO Box 754, Middlebury, VT or Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Center, 236 Boardman Street, Middlebury, VT 05753.
