                Rollande (Frenchie) Shepard, 100, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at Pillsbury Manor South in South Burlington.

                She was born on October 30, 1915 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada the daughter of Joseph and Adele Laframboise Racicot.

                She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Hinesburg and Home Den. She loved her family, gardening, cooking, and quilting. She was happy and willing to lend anyone a helping hand and she work hard though out her life.

                The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the whole staff for making Rollande so happy while living at Pillsbury Manor and especially the care and love given to her in her final days. God Bless you all.

                Survivors include her three children Lorraine Hallock of Richmond, Bruce Shepard of West Virginia, and Phyllis Bonvouloir of Orwell; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

                Predeceased by her husband Floyd Shepard on October 1, 1994, a daughter Marie Shepard on November 6, 2011 and several brothers and sisters.

                A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 18th at St. Jude Catholic Church in Hinesburg. Interment will be in Green Mount Cemetery in Starksboro. There will be no public calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Starksboro First Response, Attn. Cheryl Estey, PO Box 91, Starksboro, VT 05487. Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol will be in charge of arrangements.
