Mary Ruth Goodrich, died November 24, 2020.
She belonged to St. Ambrose Church in Bristol. She was a generous, Kind, thoughtful, loving and strong. She has worked hard, loved her neighbors and friends. She will be missed by those that knew her.
She leaves behind, son Albert Todd Goodrich; daughters, Dorothy McCarthy, Mary Weremiechik and Frances Moran. She has several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her children Marie Clough, Sandra Clark, Clarmond Frank Goodrich Jr., Amanda Purinton, Betty Weremiechik, John Henry Goodrich, infant Susan and husband Claremond Frank Goodrich. Also she is predeceased by her grandchildren Albert Todd Goodrich, BJ Goodrich, Carrie Purinton and Tim Clark.
We are thankful for the care she received at Helen Porter Rehabiltation & Nursing in Middlebury, VT.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, November 29th at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol from 2 to 4 p.m. There will be a Mass at St. Ambrose Church on Monday, November 30th at 11 a.m.. A Catholic Burial will take place at Green Mount Cemetery in Starksboro. Due to COVID the service will be limited seating in the church. Please wear a mask for service if you would like to attend in person. We will try to provide a ZOOM link for those who would participate virtually, as well the services will be recorded and available to watch following the service on Brown-McClay Funeral Home website. I knew Mary years ago at Queen City printers. Very lovely lady. Very kind. Always had something nice to say about everybody. I am sure she will be missed. Deepest sympathies to her family.
So sorry for your loss. She was one of the nicest ladies I have
ever known. Sandy was in my class in school and I felt so sorry
for Mrs. Goodrich when she passed. You All are in my thoughts.
