Bernard (Bernie) A. Andrews, 70, of West Addison, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2022, at his home, surrounded by family.
A devoted and beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, Bernie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth Andrews, and his son, Donovan, as well as sisters Doreen (Tom Barrows), Janet Andrews, brothers Gary (Shirley) Andrews, David (Kali) Andrews, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Bernie graduated from Vergennes Union High School in 1969, and Champlain College in 1971. His careers included Agway, Empire Agrisystems, and later retired from Foster Motors. During retirement he enjoyed working part-time at the Middlebury College’s Ralph Myhre Golf Course.
He was predeceased by a son, Brian, his parents, Richard and Vonda Andrews, and a Brother, Richard G. Andrews, Jr.
Bernie loved his family and cherished his friendships, and devoted his life to caring for them and brightening the world with his smile, charm, and laughter. He was an avid fisherman, golfer, tinkerer, and always had a good joke on hand.
In keeping with his wishes there will not be a funeral or wake services. Instead, a Celebration of Life will held in the summer of 2023 to honor his memory.

We are so sorry to hear of Bernie’s passing. Robert has fond memories of working with Bernie at Foster Motors. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time.
