                Roger E. Choiniere died October 30, 2023 at home in Lincoln, VT.

                He was born in Addison, VT on July 26, 1936 the son of Emile Choiniere and Amelia Quesnel.

                He is survived by daughters Annette Choiniere and Michele (Bill) Bernier of CT, four grandsons, a granddaughter, and four great granddaughters all of CT, his best friend Betty Patterson and her children, brothers Mark (Betty) of Bristol, VT, Stanley (Joan) of Southwick, MA, sister Joanne Roda (Tom) of Agawam, MA

                He managed The Tractor Barn at Field Days for years, played his accordion at campsites, went white water rafting. Roger and Betty went on a lot of trips.

                He worked for Hamelton Standard for 25 years in Connecticut, Green Mountain Tractor and Martins Hardware in Vermont. He was called “The Tractor Man” many farmers ask him how to keep their tractors running. Roger was a man of many talents we miss him and his smile.

                Visiting hours will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 11th at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol with a reception following at St. Ambrose Parish Hall in Bristol.   1. Thoughts and prayers to Roger’s family and friends. He was a true Vermonter. He was a man of few words but always had a good story to tell. He will be missed by many – also his “special” mustard that he would give our son, Joe at Christmastime.
