In Loving Memory of Gerald Dean Cook: 1947 – 2025
“The Legend Jerry ‘Cookie Man”
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of Gerald Dean Cook, lovingly known as Jerry “Cookie Man”, who has gone home to be with his father Albert, mother Geraldine, and his beloved siblings Henry, Raymond, and Loretta. He leaves behind his brother Ralph and sisters Sarah and Judy, along with a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
Jerry lived life with a spark unmatched, always believing, “If one is good, three must be better,” and was never without a backup for his backup. His love of fishing was legendary—never far from a fish pole, with another ready to go, just in case. But nothing brought him more joy than watching someone he loved reel in a fish.
A proud Vietnam Veteran, Jerry served his country between 1968 and 1969 and shared many stories from that time with humor and heart.
He married his first wife Sharon, and together they raised two wonderful children, Shawn and Kimberly, later becoming the proud grandfather of Tanis, Brenna, and Reaney. He wore his bragging rights like a badge of honor, proud of all that made them amazing.
Later in life, Jerry married Mary and helped raise her two children, Joshua and Heather, loving them as his own. Eventually, he met the love of his life, Rebecca, and welcomed her daughter Amanda, completing the family that meant everything to him.
Among his proudest moments were walking his girls down the aisle and standing as best man for his son. But perhaps what defined him most was the sound of his laughter shared with those he loved—joyful, infectious, and unforgettable.
Until we meet again, my love… always and forever.

So sorry for his families loss. Years ago I would visit his Dad Albert at his trailer with my gramps Clifford Jones. I always enjoyed those visits. It’s been years since I have seen Jerry. RIP ❤️ 🙏 to all of his family and friends
