            Albert H. Turpin, 83, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in Sweet Brook Nursing Home in Williamstown, MA.

            He was born November 8, 1934 in New Haven the son of Edgar and Ruth Naylor Turpin.

            Albert served in the U.S. Army. He owned a farm in Shoreham for 15 years and then he had a trucking business. He enjoyed deer hunting and riding snowmobilies.

            He is survived by two brothers Ernest Turpin of Shoreham and Joseph Turpin of Vergennes; 21 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.

            Predeceased by three sisters Arlene Smith, Jermain (Polly) Hrydzuisko and Shirley Bushey.

            Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 4th at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes from 10 to 11 a.m. with funeral services following at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Genevieve Cemetery in Shoreham with a reception following at St. Peters Parish Hall in Vergennes. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Church Restoration Fund, 85 South Maple St., Vergennes, VT 05491.
