Jo Anne Perron,79, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 31, 2025 surrounded by her loving family & friends.
She was born on November 3, 1945 in Hartford, CT the daughter of Clarence and Mildred (Bentley) Brill.
She was a member of St. Peter’s Church in Vergennes and American Legion Post #14. Her hobbies included working in her beautiful flower beds, bird watching, painting, knitting, crocheting and anything crafty. She loved spending time with family especially her grandchildren. She also spent as much time as she could at Button Bay State Park.
Jo is survived by her children Tina Baker, William Baker Jr., and Simone Dupuis (Perron) and husband Jason; two grandchildren Kaylee Jo and Aidan Colby; two step grandchildren Jacob and Grace Dupuis; two sisters Carol Morris and Sue Mattison; a brother Skip Brill; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, September 6th from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 am at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes. A short service will be held at 10 a.m. during those visiting hours. A celebration of Jo’s life will be held at the American Legion in Vergennes after the visiting hours.
The family would like to thank a few special friends that were always there for Jo to the end, Michelle Booska, Barbara Lavoie and David Kosnick. The family would also like to Thank the exceptional care givers at Shard Villa & Vergennes Grand that took care of Jo in her time of need.

Jo always knew how to make us laugh with her funny comments and semi-dark humor. Keeping her daughter Tina in my prayers, who was always bedside.
