Kyle R. Myers, 33, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
He was born January 8, 1985 in Burlington, Vt., the son of Gordon and (Jeanette) Myers, Pamela and (Guy) Cousino. Kyle graduated from Vergennes Union School in 2003.
Kyle enjoyed watching sports, especially the Yankees and Nascar. He also enjoyed playing cards and video games as well as spending time with family and friends. Kyle lived each day to the fullest of his ability, even earning the nickname of Dennis the Menace in his younger days. While Kyle may have had extra needs he never once complained of his condition or situation.
Kyle is survived by his parents and maternal grandparents John and Irene Pierce as well as his brothers Aaron Myers, Jason Cousino, Gregory Cousino, Justyn Cousino and his nieces Emily and Rachel Cousino and his sister Angela Polacsek, niece Mikayla Polacsek and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his other maternal grandparents Janice and Lester Armell. His paternal grandparents Robert and Elizabeth Myers also predeceased Kyle.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 23rd at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24th at North Ferrisburgh United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Quaker Cemetery in North Ferrisburgh. After the service a luncheon will be held at the home of Kyle’s grandparents.
