She loved being at the center of the chaos and excitement of her large family, reading, spending time with friends, traveling, pets, and being in the sun. She had a special soft spot for cats and dogs and would never turn away one in need of a home.

Lee was a long time member of the Community Lutheran Church in South Burlington and enjoyed her weekly scrabble games with her girlfriends.

Lee was predeceased by her parents, John DiChristofaro and Lenore Kearney, and her son, Michael Todd Hamby. She is survived by her many children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and several pets.
