LuAnn Boutin, a beloved resident of Starksboro, Vermont, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Born on May 30, 1954, in Barre, she was the daughter of Perley and Colleen Hudson Goslant Jr. of Plainfield, Vermont.
LuAnn’s interests and passions included crafting, puzzles, diamond dots, and playing cards.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Mark, and three children: David, Douglas, and Elizabeth, whom she shared with her late ex-husband, Philip Lee. Additionally, she was the grandmother of four wonderful grandchildren: Jocelyn, Braeden, Hunter, and Evan.
Her life was complex, and her relationships reflected that. While she is no longer with us, she leaves behind children and family who carry forward with resilience, compassion, and strength. Through life’s challenges, they have grown in ways that honor their own stories and futures.
The family will gather privately to remember, reflect, and support one another during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life will be planned for next summer, where we will come together to celebrate LuAnn.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that kindness be extended to others and that love be shown in everyday acts. To send online condolences to her family, please visit www.brownmcclayfuneralhomes.com

Dave and family, Your Mom was a very special lady. Through the years we may have gone on separate paths but the memories never fade. Your Mom and Dad were a big part of our younger lives.❤️
My deepest sympathy to you, Mark and the family. The obituary was absolutely beautiful and very touching. Love is the way to go. God bless you all. Love aunt Doris.
She was a long time friend. Loved her spunk and honest and inquisitive relationship. Couple weeks ago went to to visit Mark and Luann brought her her favorite food and had lots of laughs. Glad we took time to go see her when we could but especially that day.💞
Dear Dave and Family, our deepest condolences for your loss of Luanne
Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family
