                Paul A. Fuller, 85, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Helen Porter Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury.

                He was born June 10, 1932 in Nelson, PA the son of Glenn and Carole Purinton Fuller.

                He graduated from Bristol High School and served in the US Navy aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt. He was discharged in California where he met and married Carol English, the mother of his children. He returned to VT in 1966 with his family, and became a private contractor under the name of Bear Construction. Part of his career involved water heater installation for Central Vermont & Green Mountain Power and he retired at the age of 80.

                Paul was very active in the Lions Club being President of the Bristol club and later a member of the Vergennes Lions Club. He worked many years with the Cystic Fibrosis Stampede.

                He is survived by a daughter Darlene (Richard) Beckstead Henderson, NV; a son Brady (Chris) Fuller Bristol, VT; two brothers Robert Fuller, Bristol, VT; Charlie (Faith) Fuller  Selkirk, NY; seven grandchildren, Joshua Beckstead, Derek (Brandi) Beckstead, Amelia (Darren) Wilson, Jacob (Clarissa)Beckstead, Jarrod Beckstead, Rachel Beckstead and Brighton Fuller; 10 great grandchildren; an aunt Beverley Purinton Brown; several nieces, nephews  and cousins.

                Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 5th at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 6th at Lincoln United Church.
