Rollie was predeceased by his loving wife Marjorie (Barrows) Benedict, their three children, Dixie, Rollin Sr., and David Benedict and sister Ethel Blakely.
Rollie was an expert on healthy living having participated in the Charles Atlas program in his early 20s. He lived his entire life learning all he could about the newest research on health and put these practices into play. He never drank alcohol or used caffeine. He worked hard his entire life. He was quick to crack a joke or break out in a limerick. He called his home health nurses “his best friends.” His family and friends will miss the twinkle in his eye and his big goofy grin.
Calling hours will be 12:15 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16th, 2017 at the Brown McClay Funeral Home in Bristol. The funeral will follow directly after the calling hours.
