Aunt Shirley was a very special Aunt and was always happy and loving. Loved her dearly. When I was a child, I use to remember her letting me have bubble gum from the bubble gum machine in the Bicycle shop. She loved spending time at the Camp. She had a passion of making wreaths every year at Christmas. Her and Uncle Kermit rode in the Memorial Vergennes Parade on the Bicycle built for 2 throwing Candy to Kids. She had a Large Heart, and I will Miss her dearly. Love you Aunt Shirley, we will meet again.
.
Thanks Shirley for the days and years of freindship. You have been a friend to our whole family. We visited often and will miss your harmonica phone calls for our birthdays and the cards you gave us. For your “daughter” Corie, you were her “Mom”. From our house on School Street to yours and even to your apartment, we walked often. All the stories and laughter will be remembered. We cared deeply for you, so let’s have a root beer and a couple episodes of Gunsmoke one more time. Thanks be and God Bless, from Corie, Tom, Matt, Sam, and Hannah DeMatties
I remember how sweet she was when we visited the bike shop, and we always left after eating cookies.
Mr. and Mrs. were always so nice.
Shirley, you will be very missed by Kenny and your favorite Daughter inlaw Deena, we gave you the best loving care anyone could ever have!
