                Wright Stowe ,96, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 in Bristol

                He was born on March 10, 1924 the son of Robert and Hallie Stowe. He was born and brought up on a farm on Sawyer Road and attended Beeman Academy. After marring Helena ( Hamner) they bought one farm on East Street and in the 1960’s the family also purchased the Ned Wheeler Farm also on East Street. He was a farmer all of his life. He loved to Dance. He was a 4-H Leader for many years and a member of New haven Congregational Church.

                He was predeceased by his wife Helena, his parents and a sister Barbara Stowe.

                He is survived by two sons Roger and David and one daughter-in-law Elizabeth “Betty” (Butterfield) Stowe.

                Thanks to all the special nurses at Living Well in Bristol who cared for him. There will be a graveside service at a later date. Donations in his name may be sent to either New Haven Congregational Church or Addison County Home Health and Hospice.   1. Lee and I send our sympathy and prayers on the loss of your Dad, Wright. We enjoyed the times at the senior meals getting to know him a little. May your memories of him bring you comfort.

  2. We will miss seeing him drive around in the fields in the Subaru and stories about back in the day with our grandfather. Sorry for your families loss.

  4. What sad news! Mr & Mrs. Stowe were so much a part of my young years, mostly through 4-H but also through the New Haven Church, and their friendship with my parents. This world has lost another gentle, wonderful soul. Rest in peace, Mr. Stowe, Rest in Peace.
