Lorayne (Lori) Ann Lattrell 78, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday March 7th 2020.
Laurie was born on January 29th 1942 in Rutland, VT to Walter and Elizabeth Starling.
She graduated in 1959 from Middlebury Union High School.
She met her loving husband of 57 years, Donald Lattrell Sr in 1959 and they wed in July 28th 1962.
Together, they had three children, Donald Jr. , Jeffrey and wife Pam, Kristen and husband Matt White and 9 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Chelsey, Donald III, Kylie, Jeremy, Nathan, Kyle, Brandon and Jesse and their significant others. She was expecting her first great-grandchild in May.
She enjoyed sports in her early life, being outdoors, fishing and spending time at the family camp of 35 years in Goshen. She loved watching the Red Sox and the Patriots. She was competitive and challenged anyone to a game of Jeopardy or cards, often winning. She was an amazing cook, known especially for her famous chili, Mac & cheese and ham rolls. You could often find her in her cozy slippers playing crosswords or sodoku puzzles. She was motherly to all who stopped by the camp, greeting them with a meal.
She is predeceased by her parents Walter and Elizabeth. Her in laws, Archie and Alberta. Her brother Robert and wife Joyce and sister in law Alice Steadman.
She is survived by her husband, Donald, her three children and spouses, grandchildren, her siblings Walter and wife Cheryl, Bill and wife Donna and sister Mary DeForge. Her brother in law, Danny and wife Brenda, sisters in law Bette and Larry Abare, Rita and Larry Davis and Delna Snow and many nieces and nephews.

My thoughts are going to everyone in the family and all those that knew her. She was like a second Mom to me up at camp. A great person with a big heart. She will be missed. Love to you all.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I remember babysitting so many years ago and what a sweet personality she had! Hope you can get some comfort with all those years of memories.
