Marjorie (Cousino) Paquette

            Marjorie A. Paquette (Cousino) born April 7, 1936 in Bristol Vermont passed away at 81, September 6, at home with family by her side.  Marjorie was predeceased by her husband of 64 years just 9 short days ago.  

            She resided in Bristol with her husband and raised seven children; Anne Layn and husband David, Amy Driscoll and husband Mark both of Monkton. Emile and Elaine Paquette, Gerri Barrows and husband Gary, Pat and Sage Paquette, Tim and Melanie Paquette, Alice Barnum and husband Charles all of New Haven. 

            Marjorie is survived by 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.   Six sisters; Yvonne Morgan, Ronnie Mayer, Anne Myrick, Patsy Atkins, Linda Roscoe and Mary Bingham, also 4 brothers Tom, Roger, Charlie and Peter Cousino.  She was predeceased by three brothers Lucius, Guy and Ambrose Cousino.  

            Marjorie started a legacy of caring for the elderly in her home, her daughters and sisters all at one time followed in her footsteps.  She was a devoted wife and mother, she was known for her gentle ways and kindness to everyone.  She  was a member of the Saint Ambrose Parish and enjoyed sharing her faith with others.  

             A celebration of life will be held at Saint Ambrose in Bristol on Friday, September 8th at 10 a.m.. Burial will follow at Mount St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol.  Calling hours will be at Brown McClay funeral home in Bristol on Thursday, September 7th from 5 to 8 PM.   In Lieu of flowers donations in Marjorie’s memory can be made to Saint Ambrose Parish in care of Religious Education at 11 School St, Bristol, VT. 05443.
