Very sad to see that Tommy has passed. He and my brother, Jimmy Olson, were really good friends in their younger years and had a lot of fun together, especially when they were goose hunting! When going through Jim’s things after he passed, I found a patch from Tommy’s military uniform – his last name – that Jim had hung on to and I sent it to him. Had a nice visit with him a couple years ago at Porter. Was tough to see him in a wheelchair, but we had a great visit and he reminisced about the good times with Jimmy. Now those old friends will be reunited. With sincere sympathy, “Tina” Olson and family
Very sorry to hear about my old friend Tommy. We were good friends growing up in the fifties and sixties and we graduated together from VUHS. Tommy’s family home was a great place to go sledding on that great hill. We did a lot of fun things together along with other classmates growing up in Vergennes. Like Tom, I am a US Army Veteran and everyone should pray for him and thank him for his military service. He will be missed by everyone who grew up with him, especially in the sixties. Rest in peace Tom.
